Once Upon A Child Indy West buys and sells children's clothing, shoes, toys and baby gear, and it pays cash on the spot for items brought in, with no appointment needed. The shop is an independently owned and operated franchise of Once Upon A Child, a resale brand owned by Winmark Corporation of Minneapolis.
Instead of taking donations, the store buys its stock directly from local families. A monthly New Baby Club offer is aimed at new parents, and the store also runs a loyalty program, an email club and regular promotions and events. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening on at least one day. Its pink and blue sign hangs over a row of strollers lined up along the front windows.
