The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Los Lunas runs this San Clemente Conference thrift store and food pantry. Its work centers on caring, person-to-person help for neighbors trying to find a path out of poverty. Alongside the thrift store, the group hands out boxes of food and points people to local assistance resources, and together these efforts serve hundreds of people each year.
The store sells bargain-priced goods, and some of its more unusual items get special attention. Household goods are accepted as donations, and the group also takes financial gifts and volunteer time. The shop is in a tan metal building with red trim and a roll-up garage door. It is open on weekdays and closed on weekends.
