Aztec, New Mexico, is home to Packrats, a thrift store that goes by that single short name. Secondhand goods are its business, which places it in the resale trade rather than among shops selling new merchandise. Shoppers in Aztec can reach it on most days, since the store keeps a steady six-day weekly schedule. Saturday is the last open day of each week, and the doors stay closed on Sundays.
