At 56 W. Del Mar Blvd. in Pasadena, California, shoppers will find The Salvation Army Family Store. Sales at Salvation Army stores help fund the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. It is in Los Angeles County. Its stock covers clothing, furniture, antiques, home goods and collectibles. Its posted hours cover six days a week. A purchase here does double duty: a bargain for the shopper and support for the charity behind the counter. Much of what sells here arrives as donations, so the mix of goods shifts through the year.
