Donations are accepted at Tulsa Super Thrift East, where staff help unload cars, and blue donation boxes around Tulsa take drop-offs as well. A free pick-up service handles larger donations by appointment. Because the store runs as a non-profit charity, gifts are tax-deductible. It's open six days a week, stays open into the evening on weekdays and is closed on Sundays.
Sales fund the programs of Green Country Adult & Teen Challenge, part of Adult & Teen Challenge of Oklahoma. That program supports adult women facing life challenges and offers services and life-skills training. The store sells clothing, furniture and household goods, and it runs daily discounts on select clothing tags. The white building has a tower with a peaked metal roof and a red and blue Super Thrift sign with a leaping figure.
