Manna Outreach, a Hobbs nonprofit that also runs a shelter, operates this thrift store. It is open to the public and sells clothing, shoes, toys and household goods such as dishes, appliances, furniture and decor.
What sets it apart is a clothing outreach program. It gives clothing free of charge to children 12 and younger, adults 65 and older, people with a certified disability, and anyone referred by a school, church, government agency or nonprofit, and applications are taken at the store. Donations of the same kinds of goods are accepted in person during business hours. Items must be clean, free of stains, tears or mildew, and in working order, and recalled items are not accepted. The store is open on weekdays and closed on weekends.
