Millie's Thrift Store has served Lafayette for more than 40 years, and all profits from the sale of donated goods stay in the city. A large group of dedicated volunteers keeps the store running, and through the Millie's Cares program, the community can submit details of a person or family in need so the store can try to provide them with clothing.
Daily sales run in the store, and a loyalty program earns shoppers points on their purchases along with offers and updates. The store accepts donations and is open six days a week, closing on Sundays. Its blue window graphics stand out against a tan storefront beneath a green metal roof.
