Accessories, antiques and collectibles, appliances, books and clothing fill the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Fort Wayne, where the inventory changes daily. The Society of St Vincent de Paul – Fort Wayne runs the store alongside its food pantries and Care Van. Rows of armchairs and wooden chairs line the sales floor beneath a wall of framed art. The Blessed Mother's Garden, on the south side of the building, is open for reflection and prayer.
Donations are dropped off Tuesday through Saturday, and the store picks up furniture and large appliances at no charge. Accepted goods include linens, household wares, toys, records and walkers. Receipts for donations are available on request.
