Sales at Franciscan Family Thrift fund The Franciscan Center's food assistance, personal care programs and community outreach across Fort Wayne, Indiana. Its racks and shelves carry clothing and shoes, furniture, home décor, linens and bedding, books, toys and games, electronics and household goods. A light-blue "Franciscan Family" sign sits next to tall white "Thrift" letters above a fieldstone front.
Donations stock the store directly. Along with resale goods, the center accepts laundry detergent, hygiene products, diapers and wipes. It also holds online charity auctions and bin sales where goods are sold by the pound. The store is open six days a week and closed Sundays. Large furniture donations can be picked up for free anywhere inside Fort Wayne city limits.
