Donations go to a drop-off center that is open seven days a week, though CASA does not pick items up. It takes men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes and accessories, household goods such as small appliances, cookware, lamps and dishes, and small pieces of like-new furniture. Antiques and vintage pieces are welcome, but mattresses, cribs and older electronics are not. Seniors get a discount every Wednesday, and students get one on the third Saturday of each month.
CASA Pinellas runs the St. Petersburg shop, and all proceeds go to its work with domestic violence survivors. Donated cell phones go to CASA participants so they can call 911 in an emergency. The stock changes often and includes boutique clothing, housewares, furniture and art. The store sits in a lavender two-story building with potted ferns on either side of its entrance.
